14Limpsfield51.2613030.011123RH8 0DG
Our Society began as Limpsfield Decorative and Fine Arts Society over 40 years ago and has around 450 members. Whilst our members come primarily from the Oxted and Limpsfield area we have a number of members who come from surrounding towns and villages. We hold one lecture a month with afternoon and evening sessions.

We share a wide range of interests. Each month except for July and August we enjoy an illustrated lecture by a highly qualified speaker in St Peter’s Hall, Limpsfield, Surrey. Topics have ranged from painting and ceramics to architecture and garden design – whatever takes our interest. We also visit historic houses, gardens, art galleries and museums. We organise visits either by coach or if we are going into London, members normally make their own way.

We hold one or two study days each year to look at a subject in more depth. There are social activities and we organise at least one cultural tour a year for our members. We are active in the community particularly with Young Arts where we have been giving support to Junior Schools in our area. We have a Church Records project and we also supply guides for Titsey Place a local historic house. See our website for more information on our activities.

Our goal is simple: to explore art in its widest interpretation and enjoy ourselves in the process! We welcome guests and new members. There is no waiting list. We believe there is something in the programme for everyone.

Contact:

chair.limpsfield@theartssociety.org

Website:

https://theartssocietylimpsfield.org.uk

LOCATION

St Peter's Hall, High Street
Limpsfield
Oxted
United Kingdom RH8 0DG

MEETING TIMES

2.30 - Last - Wednesday

8.00pm - Last - Wednesday
